Vasculase treatment uses laser or IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) technology to target and break down unwanted thread veins (spider veins). The energy from the laser causes the veins to collapse and gradually fade away, restoring a clearer, more even skin tone.
This treatment is highly effective in removing visible red or purple thread veins on the face and body. It can help improve confidence by reducing the appearance of broken capillaries, spider veins, and general redness without the need for invasive procedures.
Most clients require between 1 to 3 sessions, depending on the size and depth of the veins being treated. Sessions are usually spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart to allow the body to absorb the treated veins.
After treatment, the area may appear slightly red or swollen for a few hours. It’s important to avoid hot showers, strenuous exercise, and excessive sun exposure for 48 hours. Applying a soothing gel, such as aloe vera, and keeping the area well-moisturised will help with healing.
Most clients describe the sensation as a mild stinging or warming feeling, similar to a quick snap of an elastic band. However, the discomfort is brief, and cooling methods are used to make the experience more comfortable.
