No major preparation is required, but it’s best to keep the skin clean and free from lotions or oils before your appointment. If you have a history of keloid scarring, let your practitioner know.
The treated area should be kept clean and dry for at least 24 hours. Avoid excessive touching or picking at the area, and refrain from using harsh skincare products until healing is complete. If a scab forms, allow it to fall off naturally to prevent scarring.
