Avoid excessive sun exposure and tanning products before your session. It is also best to stop using retinol, AHAs, and other strong exfoliants a few days before treatment to minimise skin sensitivity.

After treatment, your skin may appear red and feel slightly warm, similar to a mild sunburn. It is essential to keep the skin moisturised, avoid direct sun exposure, and apply SPF 30 or higher daily. Harsh skincare products, including exfoliants and retinol, should be avoided for at least two weeks to allow the skin to heal properly.
